Professor Wu Xiaobing Invited to the China Women Physicians Conference and Elected as a Member of the Rare Disease Professional Committee

The 10th China Women Physicians Conference was held in Beijing from August 30th to September 1st. Against the backdrop of promoting academic exchange and cooperation in the field of rare diseases in China, and promoting the improvement of diagnosis and treatment technology and patient management level, the first election and establishment of the Rare Disease Professional Committee of the China Women Physicians Association and the academic seminar were held in Beijing today. Professor Wu Xiaobing, the founder of Genecradle Therapeutics, was invited to participate in the conference and was elected as a member of the first Rare Disease Professional Committee of the China Women Physicians Association.



Professor Wu Xiaobing served as a member of the 9th Executive Committee of the All-China Women's Federation. She expressed her great honor in being invited to participate in the China Women Physicians Conference and serving as a member of the Rare Disease Committee. Chinese female experts play a key role in clinical and rare disease endeavors, contributing significantly to the cause with their profound professional knowledge, keen insight, unique delicate care, outstanding empathy, and unyielding perseverance. Through various aspects of work such as clinical diagnosis and treatment, innovative research, health education, and policy advocacy, they have effectively improved the diagnostic and therapeutic effects and quality of life for patients with rare diseases.

As a pioneer in gene therapy in China, Professor Wu looks forward to exchanging experiences with colleagues from all over the country and jointly exploring new ideas and methods for the diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases. She also hopes to use the platform of the professional committee to promote more scientific research projects on rare diseases, raise public awareness and attention to rare diseases, and provide patients with higher quality medical services.
